When Outsourcing fits

Not every technical need becomes a recurring monthly contract. That's what Outsourcing is for.

MSP is a recurring monthly contract: Zulti running the client's IT every day, for those who want to outsource the whole operation. When you only need a one-off technical service, Outsourcing delivers it with scope, timeline and price agreed upfront: start, execute, close. No monthly fee afterwards.

The 4 project types

Four project types. A beginning, a middle and an end.

Outsourcing covers technical projects that don't require a recurring MSP contract. In all of them, Zulti takes responsibility for delivery: it starts, executes and closes with a documented handover.

01
Type 01 · Setup

Installation / Technical setup

Initial setup of infrastructure or a tool. You bought or signed up for something and want Zulti to get it working: install, test, document, close.

typical examples
Firewall + DMZ setup for a new office
Initial setup of automated backup
Full IT installation for a new site
02
Type 02 · Migration

One-off migration

Change of provider, system or environment. A project with a clear start and end, with no recurring work once it's running.

typical examples
Email migration to Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
File migration to SharePoint or Drive
Moving an on-premise server to the cloud
03
Type 03 · Implementation

Rolling out a new tool

You bought licenses or a technical tool and want Zulti to configure it and hand it over working. Zulti does it, trains basic use, and steps out.

typical examples
Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace rollout
Monitoring or EDR tool setup
Corporate web filtering setup
04
Type 04 · Support

Scoped support / one-off incident

A specific technical problem or an emergency. Zulti steps in, diagnoses, fixes, documents and closes once the problem is solved, with no monthly fee.

typical examples
Recovery after a security incident
Technical diagnosis of a specific problem
One-off network, server or database tuning
Outsourcing ≠ MSP ≠ Studio

Three products that may look alike. They're different things.

Clients mix them up, so we say upfront what each one solves. Each has a different commercial model, scope and continuity expectation.

— no client held hostage

At the end, you're independent to carry on. 30 days of follow-up for questions and adjustments to what was delivered. IT is too specific for abstract guarantees. A client without backup who gets hit by ransomware loses data, and Outsourcing doesn't rebuild operations. For continuous coverage of the environment, it's MSP.

One-off technical project, single scope. Closes with documentation, no monthly fee afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

When outsourcing a project, every CEO asks the same things.

Who's in charge, who answers for what, and how you exit afterwards.

How does an Outsourcing project work? Timeline, scope, price?+
Scope agreed in writing before kickoff. In an initial conversation, Zulti understands the problem, identifies which of the four project types in the section The 4 project types it fits, and proposes a fixed-scope project with scope, estimated timeline, deliverables and a single price. During execution, regular checkpoints with you as work progresses. At completion, documentation proportional to the scope + 30 days of follow-up for questions. No monthly fee afterwards, no automatic renewal. The project closes when the deliverable is done.
Can I become an MSP client after the project closes?+
Yes, and it usually makes sense. When the project closes, you're independent with the documented handover. If you later realize you want continuous coverage (maintenance, support, updates, monitoring), it's worth talking about MSP. Since Zulti already knows the environment it installed/migrated/configured, the transition is natural.
What gets documented when the project closes?+
It depends on the scope. A technical setup comes with a checklist of what was done and credentials in the client's vault; a larger migration or implementation comes with detailed technical documentation. Plus 30 days of post-delivery follow-up. But follow-up is not an operational guarantee: the environment remains the client's responsibility. For continuous coverage (backup, monitoring, incidents), it's MSP.
Who it's NOT for

Some teams need to be in-house.
Saying so is part of the job.

Commercial honesty has kept us going for almost a decade. In some scenarios, another provider is a better fit. We list them openly to save you evaluation time.

✕
You want billing by the hour ("send someone, pay for the hours"). Outsourcing sells a single price per project, based on the scope agreed upfront. We don't sell billable time. If you want man-hours, there are better providers for that body-shop model.
✕
You want to "figure it out as we go", without committing to what will be delivered. Outsourcing doesn't work that way. Without a clear scope, no one can be accountable for the result. When it's not clear yet, it's worth starting with a paid technical diagnosis as an initial project, and only then decide what's next.
✕
You want someone placed on your team or recruiting people to hire. Zulti's Outsourcing doesn't work like that. Zulti executes the project with its own team and delivers the result; it doesn't sell people or find candidates.
